He could guide anywhere in the world, since he thoroughly understands the habits of saltwater and freshwater fish and how to catch them, but is focused on Connecticut’s Farmington River. He has broken down this amazing fishery to a science and has helped me begin to know it’s unique challenges. He is a protégée of great classic fly designers, and now creates great flies of his own.
